Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC and Refrigeration systems. Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.ResponsibilitiesInstall new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systemsInspect and perform equipment repairs and replacementsPerform routine preventative maintenanceRespond to emergency maintenance requestsAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresPerform on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installationUses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirementsMust work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all timesPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience in HVAC or other related fieldsFamiliarity with HVAC wiring diagramsAbility to handle physical workloadStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent Customer Service SkillsGood mechanical Diagnostic SkillsAbility to complete repairs and required paperworkCompensation $24 - $34 hourly About SMSISMSI is dedicated to providing the highest quality mechanical services performed in an honest, dependable, and efficient manner.
