The weekend incentive program has been initiated by the Hospital to support weekend staffing, we have created a program which will provide a stipend to colleagues in the program positions for each weekend worked, in addition to hourly rate for all hours worked and applicable overtime or differentials. Night-shift program nurses will receive a stipend of $600 for each weekend in which both weekend day shifts are worked. Steele 1 is a medical telemetry unit. Become IV certified and part of the Code team. Patients range from all sorts of respiratory issues, heart and stroke patients, alcohol and drug withdrawal, end of life care, insulin drips, cardiac drips and more. Ratio is 4 or 5:1 on days and eves, 6:1 on nights.As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following: Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes Scheduled Hours 24 hrs, Fri/Sat 7pm-7:30am, Weekends Only. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Basic Life Support (BLS) required ACLS and Telemetry experience preferred (4-day Telemetry course offered for those without Telemetry experience) REQNUMBER: 168024-1A
