The Emergency Department at Penn State Holy Spirit is a 31 bed, Level 2 Trauma Unit. As a busy unit, the ED sees an average census of about 116 patients a day. Taking both experienced RN''s as well as new grads, the ED is a great place to learn quickly in a fast paced environment. The RN Registered Nurse assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Active RN Registered Nurse license in the state. BLS required prior to orientation completion.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Six months RN Registered Nurse experience preferred. WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
