Assistant Hot Foods ManagerJob DescriptionJob DescriptionUnder the direction of the Hot Foods Manager, the Assistant Hot Foods Manager is responsible for achieving Company objectives for the hot foods department by efficiently and profitably maintaining the hot foods department and by fulfilling customer''s expectations.Job Responsibilities:Meeting the sales and profits goals for the hot foods department by properly ordering, handling, and merchandising hot foods, and other related productsEnsuring that all necessary tasks in the hot foods department are done knowledgeably and efficiently in accordance with Company policies.Determining ways to meet customer''s demandsFulfilling customer''s expectationsEnsure that all employees you are responsible for take their meal and breaksJob Functions:The position of Assistant Hot Foods Manager entails the following tasks, carried out according to Company goals, policies, and schedules:Ensuring the proper handling and storage of all merchandiseMaintaining full, fresh, and appealing hot foods displaysKeeping all equipment clean and in good working orderPlanning and administering product promotions and displaysContinuously training and developing associatesEnforcing safety rulesStriving to keep shrink down to lowest possible levelsPerforming additional jobs that the Hot Foods Manager may assignOrientation of new hires and completion of necessary paper work and training of personnelMaintains employees'' appearance standards and completes employees'' evaluations, both formal and informal.Prepares employee schedules for the department and coordinates employees'' vacation schedulesWork with Store Management to ensure correct implementation of personnel training* Under NO circumstance may minors work with any type of Machinery. Minors must comply with all stipulations indicated on their work permit.
