Complete and record required information regarding care an emergency situation, contact the parent/guardian and call an ambulance in accordance with the standing orders of the School Medical Directors.Accompany an ill or injured person to the hospital when needed.Administer medications in accordance with school district policies, procedures and standing orders as approved by the School Medical Directors and the Board of School Directors and maintain records of those medications administered so long as (i) proper parental/guardian authorization has been submitted and is being maintained in the students medical fileMaintain and assure the confidentiality of all matters pertaining to the health of students and staff. Maintain an orderly Health RoomRequirementsCurrent unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being providedCertified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-rayLicensed driver with valid automobile insuranceReliable transportationMust be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
