Clinical Registered Nurse II - Preop Surgical

The Clinical Nurse II - Procedural independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Required Experience includes 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Service.
