The scope of the role includes acting as liaison with the organ procurement organization and the OPTN, assesses human, financial and material resources of patients and families; coordinates information flow among medical, ancillary, nursing, financial and insurance company staff; represents the transplant program through involvement in hospital and community activities; participates in the development and maintenance of the transplant statistical database. Employee will recognize the population specific needs of the transplant patient and apply the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviors to meet those needs when performing patient activities.Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursingMust have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)Must have an RN license or a temporary permit to practice from the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of TexasMust have a minimum of two years of Med Surg and/or acute hemodialysis experience for renal/pancreasTwo years experience of critical care experience is preferredOne year experience in the management of organ failure/transplant patients is preferredJob: *Nursing - Professional Title: Clinical Coord Transplant Clinic Location: Texas-Fort Worth-Med City Fort Worth Requisition ID: 00073-174003
