It is truly a rewarding experience.Job Summary:To assist the culinary team with prep, banquets, and all aspects of kitchen operations. To study and learn new techniques and recipes to grow as both a culinarian and a professional.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for the set up and execution of buffets, banquet events and other operationsFollow recipes and complete daily task listsWork with Chef on recipe development, inventories and productionEnsure the standards of food quality and consistency are being met dailyResponsible for the organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of the kitchen and equipmentAdheres to state and local health and safety regulations including labeling, dating and tracking temperaturesAsks questions to clearly understand daily events and assignmentsAssists with other duties as assigned by the Executive or Sous Chef.QualificationsMust have a willingness to learnAble to read and follow recipesAble to work quickly and efficiently independentlyMust be flexible in hours scheduledMust work well with othersMust be able to lift up to 50lbsMust be able to walk/stand up to 12 hours''All offers of employment are based upon satisfactory completion of background and drug screening checks.
