Fleet Mechanic

Full Job DescriptionThe Fleet Mechanic is responsible for the repair, maintenance, overhaul, and service of various types of small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and trucks. Oversees and maintains the, storages areas and equipment yard for cleanliness, organization and inventory. Fleet consists of equipment including, gas trucks, diesel trucks, trailers, skid steers and 50 small engine pieces of equipmentResponsibilities:Schedule and perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running.Test, diagnose, and repair equipment including: small engine equipment, diesel or gas powered trucks, tractors, excavators, skid steers. and other construction equipment.Weld/fabricate as required.Perform road calls.Maintain shop tools and equipment in good working order.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Speak with suppliers to order any required parts and maintain inventory. Requirements:Driver''s License.Good organizational and leadership skills.Residential and/or commercial landscape experience.Ability to perform physical work lifting up to 100 lbs. occasionally and 20 - 50 lbs. frequently.
