Job Description

We are seeking Clinical Supervisor who provides leadership and supervision in the program. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of staff and service delivery. He or she ensures charting standards are met and maintained, high-quality supportive therapeutic services are provided through a trauma-informed care lens, and supervisees work within the integrated core practice model within their teams. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that services are in compliance with contract standards and all regulations established by the Department of Mental Health (DMH), Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Department of Probation (DoP), and Council on Accreditation (COA) standards.Essential Functionso Provide support and clinical guidance for superviseeso Work to integrate mental health services within the Wraparound program, including but not limited to ensuring clinicians are trained to provide trauma-responsive mental health services and trauma-related clinical guidance to the CFT process.o Hold supervisees accountable for documentation expectations including meeting productivity standards and submitting all documentation within the contract and/or agency timeframeso Respond to program staff immediately when clients are in crisis situations; available 24 hours per day/7 days a week by telephone and/or in person if indicatedo LPS designation by Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health is required for this position and includes all associated responsibilities including but not limited to assessment, writing holds when necessary, coordinating services for hospitalization and transportation.o Gather and report information related to key program performance indicators, utilizing tools to monitor and address areas of strength and for improvement in superviseeso In collaboration with AVP and Program Coordinator, participates in quality assurance identifying needs or areas of improvement (policies and procedures, program modifications or enhancements, streamlining paperwork for efficiency staff development, etc).o Meet regularly with supervisees for weekly individual and group supervision. Review caseloads, utilize a strength-based model to provide clinical information, feedback and interventions based on the needs of the clients and familieso May provide direct service to clients if neededo Attend all required meetings and trainings as it relates to client care and/or therapeutic development as required by Avivao Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences among the agencys client populationo Actively participate in quality improvement projecto Comply with agency guidelines, policies and procedures.o Comply with applicable professional licensing requirements and ethical standardsThe Wraparound Clinical Supervisor will take on special projects or additional duties as assigned by the AVP.-Must have excellent oral and written communication skills-Must have excellent time management and organizational skills-Bilingual (Spanish) preferredEducation and Experience-Masters''s degree in Social Work or Psychology from a regionally accredited university required-Meets Board of Behavioral Science criteria for providing clinical supervision to interns (ACSW/AMFT)-Experience providing clinical supervision is strongly preferred-Experience with DMH documentation is strongly preferred-Experience with field-based or outpatient mental health services is strongly preferredCertifications/Licenses-Clinical license from the California Board of Behavioral Science(LCSW or LMFT)-Valid California driver''s license
