Eatons Power Quality Division is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Youngsville, North Carolina.The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production teams to support initiative including line set up and relocation, equipment modifications and repairs and preventative maintenance. You will requisition parts, materials, labor and support to complete job tasks.You will fabricate replacement parts as needed for machinery. Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipRelocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Position Criteria: Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as neededAbility to lift 50 lbs. Ability to climb a ladder. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.Preferred Qualifications: Welding experience and / or certificationsHazardous waste management / Hazardous waste operations emergency responseKnowledge of electrical systems and devicesLock Out / Tag Out CertifiedHVAC training and / or certificationsBasic working knowledge and experience with computersEaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
