DescriptionEvaluates, examines, diagnose, and treats patients in collaboration with their supervising and or substitute supervising physician according to established guidelines and protocols. Maintains and promotes the well-being of the patient through preventative healthcare and guidance. Provides care in the outpatient setting only.Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of PennsylvaniaCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program.Act 73Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of Family Medicine.Current ACLS or completion within one year of hire/transfer date into departmentCurrent Nurse Practitioner Licensure.Related training/experience (preferably within the past five years)Strong leadership ability, independent thinking and decision-making ability; analytical problem solving skills, sound judgment; excellent oral and written communication skills, must be able to function in a team environment.Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Interpersonal skills that facilitate positive, constructive interaction with personnel both intra and interdepartmentally. An ability to support an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care that crosses a comprehensive care continuum.
