It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Executive Steward Stewards to coordinate with the Chefs Department and Executive Steward to ensure each department has required equipment for daily operations. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Specific Job Functions:Delegate tasks to department and ensure job requirements are completed correctly and in a timely mannerAssist the Executive Steward in phases of the department operationsWork closely with the Chefs department and all room managers in order to assure quick and efficient operations of each restaurant outletAssist with on-the-job training of stewarding employeesPerform walk through inspections of kitchen areas and complete noted checklistsCommunicate job assignments to stewarding employees in English and SpanishMaintain employee records, attendance tracking sheets, checklist and daily reportsApply proper disciplinary action to line employees and complete required documentationOrder chemicals and maintain necessary inventory and suppliesMaintain inventory and record of hollowware, silverware, glassware and other equipmentEnsure operations follow Health, Safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulationsMaintain a working knowledge of Banquet Set-up and banquet function skillsPerform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the departmentAt least two years of supervisory experience requiredA working knowledge of kitchens, dish machines, silver- plated equipment care and polishing, and chemical awarenessStrong working knowledge of OSHA and safety regulationsBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related computer programs a mustMust have a professional appearance and demeanorRequisition ID: 2022-13795 External Company URL: Street: 2880 Las Vegas Blvd South Telecommute: No External Company Name: Circus Circus Las Vegas Hotel and Casino Overview (Text Only): It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Executive Steward Stewards to coordinate with the Chefs Department and Executive Steward to ensure each department has required equipment for daily operations.
