The Senior Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the strategy, clinical and operations of the ambulatory pharmacy services across the Scripps Health System. Working closely with the AVP for Pharmacy Services, this leader develops strategy to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient pharmaceutical services that provide quality patient experiences, clinical excellence and financial opportunity. The Senior Director oversees the management of all Ambulatory Pharmacy service including retail, ambulatory clinics, oncology and infusion services. The Senior Director is responsible for short- and long-range planning, staffing, and the development of budgets for all ambulatory pharmacy departments. This position is accountable for ambulatory pharmacy initiatives and establishes policies, procedures, standards and objectives that are consistent with and supports the organization''s mission, vision, and goals.
