Our F&B interns are given the opportunity to preform numerous tasks that are key to their growth and development in the food and beverage industry. Job Summary:To assist the Food and Beverage Team with the activities and administration of the food and beverage department including a la-carte dining, private, and special and Club sponsored events in accordance with established policies and procedures. Interns gain knowledge of member service and hospitality management as they relate to the private club industry. Duties and Responsibilities:Rotate through all functions of front of the house operations in several key F&B areas: restaurants, banquets, bars and other food and beverage outlets.Attendweekly huddles with the Food and Beverage Team.Work cross-functionally with the other departments throughout the club.Answer questions regarding food and beverage menus.Make food and beverage recommendations to members and guests.Own every member request.Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing positive relationships with members and guests throughout the club.Stock, organize, and maintain restaurant equipment, storage, dining room, and patio.Assists with other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Management Team.Qualifications:Candidates need to be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision at times.Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills.Proven ability to effectively build and foster a team environment.Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.Must have functional food and beverage knowledge.Pursuing a Hospitality or Private Club Management degreeMust have a willingness to learnMust be flexible in hours scheduledMust work well with othersMust be able to walk/stand up to 12 hoursAll offers of employment are based upon satisfactory completion of background and drug screening checks.
