In doing so, assesses the patients needs, plans and implements the treatment plan, observes and evaluates the patients progress and documents pertinent observations. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health team to meet the holistic needs of the patient. Directs the delivery of nursing care by other members of the nursing team. Participates in the orientation of new employees. Participates in the departments performance improvement process.Applicant must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York. 1 2 years Medical Surgical experience required. 1 year recent critical care experience preferred.
