The People Experience Manager works with the Sr Manager of People Experience and local executive leadership team to proactively impact the human resource needs within the firm. This role is responsible for a broad range of programs and transactions that support the lifecycle of each team member, which can include new hire, retention, benefits and employee relations. Additional project work can include programs specific to team member engagement and retention. JOB SUMMARYThe People Experience Manager works with the Sr Manager of People Experience and executive leadership team to proactively impact the human resource needs within the firm. This role is responsible for a broad range of programs and transactions that support the lifecycle of each team member, which can include new hire, retention, benefits and employee relations. The People Experience Manager will also oversee the travel management relationship and experience. Additional projects include programs to drive higher employee engagement. Essential Functions:Manages and administers human resources initiatives and programs such as employment and immigration law compliance, benefits administration, payroll administration, retention strategies, employee engagement programs and activities.Monitors adherence to HR policies and procedures. Ensure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently communicated and administered, aligned with organizational goals, and in concert with the Code of Conduct and state and federal regulatory requirements and laws.Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of recurring payroll, profit sharing, employee deductions, state and federal tax processing, and interfaces to third party vendors and carriers. Advocate for team members and the company in all personnel matters.Exhibits proactive mentoring and coaching for managers and above regarding employee relations issues and separationsPartner with executive leaders to expand employee engagement through programs and polices that support career growth, meaningful work, challenge and effective leadership practices. Adheres to HR Recordkeeping and Retention guidelines. Manage administration of HR related tools, systems and databases.Plan and coordinate annual company trip as part of broader employee engagement workstream.Collect and process human capital related audits, such as 401k and Workers CompensationOversee travel management process and vendor relationshipAssist with onboarding and termination processes and documentation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong HR generalist experience supporting programs and transactions across the employee lifecycle.Specific expertise in employee health and welfare programs, and payroll. High level of attention to detail and quality of work productExcellent time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work on-site or remotely as a valuable contributor to a collaborative teamCapable of simultaneously managing multiple projectsFull understanding and ability to apply of ethics, independence and Schellman''s values to all HR decisionsAdvanced written, verbal, and presentation skills.High proficiency in all Microsoft Office productsFamiliarly with human capital legislation such as leave, sick, paid time off state legislationWorkday HCM or other ERP experience is preferredEducation, Work Experience and CertificationsBachelor''s degree in human resources, business, management or other relevant subject area, or equivalent years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.3-5 years of human resources, employee relations, and diversity experience.Currently holds or willingness to pursue certifications in HR or learning disciplines (PHR/SPHR)Schellman''s accolades and reviews are direct reflections of our amazing environment.
