Professor, Division Chief, DIVISION OF RHEUMATOLOGY, ALLERGY, AND IMMUNOLOGYGalveston, Texas, United StatesFacultyUTMB HealthRequisition 2203388JOB DESCRIPTION:The UTMB Department of Internal Medicine (DOIM) is conducting a national search to identify our next Division Chief to lead a combined Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology. The new Division Chief will have an opportunity to lead and shape a dynamic Division within the rapidly growing UTMB Health system. The Division is charged with providing comprehensive and leading-edge clinical care locally and regionally across Southeast Texas while staying true to UTMBs long history of serving the underserved populations in our region.A national search is being conducted amid unprecedented opportunity at UTMB for program building and growth. The Universitys leadership is highly aligned in its goal to grow the clinical and academic profile of the DOIM as well as the reputation of the John Sealy School of Medicine (SOM). The next Division Director will be a nationally recognized physician with a history of a strong commitment to excellence in clinical care and education as well as scholarship in Rheumatology or Allergy/Immunology.
