Job DescriptionJoin CVS Health as a Sr. Manager of the Platform Enablement / DevOps Team. As an Senior Manager, you will manage both full- employees and contracted resources to execute project work within the IT organization at CVS Health. You will ensure that project initiatives and guidelines meet both internal and client requirements and are delivered on-time. The Sr. Manager is responsible for leading a team of technology professionals and driving the platform and devops automation strategy for Specialty Pharmacy application portfolio. This includes managing the product technology platforms and environments required for enabling innovative and competitive solutions for our business users and external customers. The Sr. Manager is also responsible for creating the platform roadmap; developing the product deployment strategy; and working closely with partners to review and ensure that all nonfunctional and performance requirements are implemented, with a focus on continuous improvement for the entire technology portfolio.Responsibilities include:Provide leadership and direction for IT team being accountable for product performance, platform delivery, service deployment and end-user satisfactionSolution Delivery Determine how product architecture fits and interacts within Specialty's overall business visions In collaboration with other IT functional areas, assess feasibility, determine cost/benefits, prioritize projects, and develop and implement systems plans and solutions that address the information and integration requirements of the business and adhere to established strategic business and systems objectives Drive innovation and creative solutions for DevSecOpsStrategy Participate in transforming strategic plans into high level IT initiatives; provide a vision for how technology and automation can enable current and future product lifecycle opportunities; manage and drive the IT governance process Provide input into the formulation of the company system architecture plans, assessing the feasibility of system requests and ensuring the plans support both strategic and near-term business needsManagement Daily management of technology staff and resourcesResource planning, scheduling, and forecasting Provide high level management, coaching and mentoring to create an environment which encourages accountability and strong staff development; manage the hiring, training, motivating, and retaining of top talent in the IT field both on site and in remote locations Metrics management: develop, communicate, and manage a comprehensive portfolio metrics package to presented to leadership Performs other duties as assignedPlatform Provide strategic direction and implementation of DevOps practice including organizational design, process, workflow, training, education and adoption. Lead DevOps practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline and IT operations practices, scaling, and metrics, as well as running day-to-day operations from development to production. Sponsor non-functional requirements needed for best-class reliability and cost-efficiency throughout the product development lifecycle. Drive a culture of automation, and self-service enablement for developers. Work with information security leadership and technical team to automate security into the platform and services. Work across Engineering on purchasing, license management and costs relation to both development and product infrastructure operations.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 95,000Maximum: 209,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualificationsï‚§ Eight (7) years or more of experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation using the following technologies / Frameworks Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, Linuxï‚§ 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a software development environment or infrastructure environment ï‚§ 4+ years Working in DevOps or Site Reliability engineering or infrastructure engineeringï‚§ 4+ years Working with DevOps technologies like Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Chef, Dynatrace, GitLab/GitHub, CheckMarx, etc.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
