Manager, Software QA Engineering

Job DescriptionCVS Health is seeking an experienced professional individual to lead and engineer efficient test solutions of highest quality at lowest possible cost using modern technology practices. The Manager, Quality Assurance Engineer will play a vital role by leading the Eligibility and Sterling Integrator Quality Engineering team in continually executing its quality strategy and ensuring the development and release of the highest quality software product by collaborating in a cross functional team, on quality initiatives and techniques that promote the best software.This position will be responsible for developing automated test solutions and/ or architecting requirement models for large size projects. This position will focus on creating process maps, design documents and code reviews. This position will offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members Key Responsibilities: Accountable for test automation budget and milestone Lead the QA engineering design/code reviews and maintain high quality in automation deliverables Participate in the QA engineering project estimation and timeline evaluation Lead the team of senior analysts to complete the QA engineering project deliverables on time Anticipate, identify, track and resolve engineering issues and risks affecting delivery Advanced knowledge and experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC and STLC methodologies Support initiatives to help improve processes and practices namely defect management, comprehensive test coverage and prioritization, metrics collection and reporting, etc. Foster an environment of curiosity and learning and encourage new ideas from engineers to cultivate improvements through innovation.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in QA Engineering, with the following experience: Experience with AS400 knowledge and experience of designing scalable and reusable automation frameworks Knowledge on any of these automation tools: Unified Functional Testing (UFT)Robotic Process Automation (UiPath) 5+ years experience working with test management tools (HP ALM Quality Center, IBM Rational Robot, Test Manager or similar test tools.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
