Job DescriptionThis can be a remote opportunityValue Pool Enablement is a new way to identify, manage, and execute portfolios to help HCB achieve its strategy. Multiple Value Pools have been identified as drivers to the Health Care Business (HCB) strategy. This program will utilize a multi-year portfolio management view, balancing investments with near-term return and long-term outcomes, and measuring and tracking value for the current year and beyond. We will accelerate Aetna's ability to innovate, scale, and implement use cases through an operating model designed to enable seamless collaboration and successful outcomes We will transform end to end constituent experiences, drive down operating costs and improve outcomes by applying digital technologies and data analytics to delight our constituents and change the way we work.The VPE Portfolio Operations Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects for the Value Realization Office (VRO) department. Projects will vary in scope and complexity from day-to-day collection of defined data for the departments use, to coordinating critical project/program data across all of HCB.This individual is responsible for managing, directing, and planning complex work efforts across multiple teams. Coordinate engagement of subject matter experts in the business segment to assist in the identification, validation, and resolution of business needs. Work closely with Value Pool teams to complete project lifecycle processes including Intake, Delivery Planning, and Portfolio Delivery Tracking for the value pool. Acts as a liaison between VRO and Value Pool team members and/or their delegates to ensure that expectations and objectives for the processes are clearly understood by all parties, and to communicate critical information including the status of deliverables. Ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with business, sr. management, and peers with a high level of confidence and composure. Leads matrixed work efforts by executing assigned tasks and coordinating the efforts of internal and external team members. Completes portfolio financial analysis to identify, monitor and report financial risks and opportunities across the portfolio. Tracks and manages to the portfolio budget, completes monthly close process, and reports cost information in an accurate and timely manner. Partners closely with IT to govern the ITPR creation and financial reporting processes to ensure consistency in analysis and financial reporting. Owns the Vendor Relationship Management function for associated value pools and partners with project teams and procurement to secure and manage vendor partners. Ensures that projects have clear milestones to achieve committed business value and track milestone progress. Provides management with team and individual performance feedback. Adheres to existing project management methodology by leveraging and promoting the use of existing tools, capturing best practices, identifying areas for process improvement, and the associated implementation. Identifies and tracks resource demands and interdependencies between projects to ensure end-to- end synergy across the VPE Portfolio.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 158,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
