Sourcing Manager - Professional Services

Job DescriptionSr. Sourcing Analyst - Professional Services:CVS Health's Enterprise Procurement department, a key function within the company's Global Business Services organization, is in search of a Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing - Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of complex, high-impact RFx events for indirect products and services within Marketing, Customer Insights, Corporate Communication, Management Consulting, and Print addition to managing large sourcing events, this role will also be responsible for supporting the Category Manager and Lead Director with category strategy and pipeline development. This role reports directly to the Lead Director of Strategic Sourcing - Professional Services, and will work in a team environment that provides support and guidance to ensure that Enterprise Procurement is effectively serving its internal stakeholders.The Strategic Sourcing team manages over $9B in annual indirect spend across a range of IT and non-IT categories that support key business units across the enterprise (Retail, PBM, Insurance, Specialty/Clinical, etc.). As a Senior Analyst on the Sourcing team, you should have an enterprise mindset, possess an entrepreneurial self-starting mentality, and be a strong communicator who is able to establish lasting relationships with business leaders as well as internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Execute and lead a variety of complex, high-value, high visibility sourcing events in support of category Support development of category plans, pipeline, and other category materials Manage expiring contract process to support pipeline development for category Work with Sourcing Category Managers to develop the strategy and approach for each RFx event Organize and lead effective meetings with internal stakeholder and external suppliers As appropriate, delegate RFx events and tasks to Sourcing Analysts and provide guidance to ensure successful execution Conduct market research that supports negotiation strategies and award decisions for each sourcing event Compile scope of work and requirements, analyze and evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate final commercial terms Develop and confidently present analysis - both quantitative and qualitative - to Procurement and Business leadership to obtain approval to award business Effectively communicate and demonstrate Strategic Sourcing's value proposition to internal business partners/stakeholdersThis role will ideally be a hybrid position based out of Hartford, CT, Cumberland, RI, Buffalo Grove, IL, Florham Park, NJ, or Scottsdale, AZ and candidates within a commutable distance to one of these locations will be required to be in office 2x weeklyRequired Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytics, or Project Management Ability to travel up to 15% for supplier presentations, site visits, and key department meetings at RI Headquarters (no more than quarterly)Preferred Qualifications: Possess a strong business acumen and high level of problem solving and critical thinking skills Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to confidently and expertly interact with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical ability, strategic thinker, learn and process new information quickly Ability to quickly capture, analyze, and summarize large data sets Strong organization and project management skills Shown ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision, while paying strong attention to detail and follow-up Intellectually curious, eager to gain new experiences, qualifications, and responsibilities Negotiation Skills / Experience Vendor Management / Consolidation Experience Experience with electronic sourcing platforms, such as Ariba eSourcing, is a plusEducation:Bachelor's degree required. MBA - Master's Degree in a related field of study is a plusPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 126,600Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
