Job DescriptionThe Advisor, Application development is responsible for the techno-functional impact analysis, design & code construction activities associated with development of software releases for the PBM RxArchitect application. Strong technical, functional, and interpersonal skills are key to perform this role successfully. The Advisor will partner and collaborate with the development manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance/testing, business partners, developers, and project managers to deliver Business change and innovation into our Java based business applications software. The Advisor will be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production. The Advisor will play an important role in interfacing with customer and work with the lead for the successful delivery of the project. - Strong Java programming knowledge JDK1.7/1.8- J2EE design patterns- Knowledge on Object-oriented programming principles- Working knowledge of EJB, Spring MVC, JSF, Richfaces, Unix - Working experience on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery- Knowledge of Junit, ANT build scripts- Database knowledge- Oracle SQL- Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins and Git)Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
