Job DescriptionCVS Health, a fortune 4 company, continues to grow and we currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Category Manager managing Consumables Categories in our COE Formats office in Miami, Florida. CVS COE formats are designed to build loyalty and be relevant to the community. As the Hispanic population in the United States grows, CVS Health has taken a multi-pronged approach to better meet the needs of this specific customer population. You will be responsible for leading Hispanic merchandising activity and strategy on a national scale. You will have the full scope of responsibility for the assigned specific strategic, merchandise category(s) and attaining budgeted sales, gross margin, and building market share within the category. This will include full P&L responsibility for attaining budgeted Sales, Contribution Margin, and Gross Margin Return on Inventory Investment. You will develop annual category business plans for 1, 3 and 5 years out as well was category strategic plans for weekly, seasonal, and annual merchandising programs while maintaining competitive analysis, including competitive store and market visits.ï‚§ Under a Category Manager's guidance, you will be responsible for your assigned specific category(s) and you will be responsible for attaining budgeted sales, gross margin, and building market share within your category, while building a customer focused and on trend assortment. ï‚§ You will be collaborating with the support team for their business including pricing, Promotion Assistants, Merchandise Planners, Inventory Planners, Financial Planners, Store Operations and Category Planogram Designers to achieve the merchandising objectives as it relates to the CVS Strategic plan.ï‚§ You will be responsible for optimizing SKU mix and planogram productivity. You will be responsible for searching out new, competitive opportunities within the assigned categories and driving the business to ensure an industry leading position for CVS.ï‚§ You will need to achieve Market Share growth developing Annual Category Business Plans 1-3-5 years out by developing and implementing category strategic plans i.e., weekly, seasonal, and annual merchandising programs to deliver industry leading resultsï‚§ You will drive the product review and planning process initiating and executing marketing plans for weekly, seasonal marketing programs maintaining positive trade relations and developing strategic alliancesï‚§ As an Assistant Category Manager, you will be negotiating with manufacturers and vendors, developing, and implementing promotional strategies and maintaining competitive position.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 97,400Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
