Job Description.Are you a skilled Pharmacy Technician looking to make a change? Join our CVS Health, Omnicare team as a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor - IV Department in our closed-door pharmacy setting Day in the Life: Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients, and they demonstrate ethical conduct and always maintain patient confidentiality. Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely. Partner with function IV Pharmacist to coordinate workflow for assigned functions that prepare and process medications. Prepare medications by measure, mix, count out, label and record amounts and dosages of IV or highly regulated medications according to prescription orders following Long Term Care Pharmacy policies, regulations, and procedures. Prepare IV Pharmacy Technician work schedules Responsible for providing employees with timely, candid and constructive feedback; developing employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.Manager order entry staff using the proper procedures to enter new and refill prescription orders.Who We Are and What We Offer: Omnicare, a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Health, provides comprehensive pharmaceutical services to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across the United States.
