Job DescriptionAetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Informatics to formulate and apply mathematical and optimizing methods to develop and interpret information. Duties include: collect and analyze data to support decision-making for risk evaluation and program implementation; track and analyze risk adjustment model versions and weights by site, validate member-level risk scores, and provide analytics-driven guidance to actuarial team for forecasting and rate setting; serve as lead subject matter expert on Medicaid Risk Adjustment methodology and risk scoring; maintain risk score model integrity across multiple states and communicate the key drivers of results to business leaders; build out the infrastructure required for extraction, transformation, and loading of financial data from various data sources; utilize SAS, SQL, R or similar programming languages to create complex algorithms, applications, and data visualizations; data analysis using complex SAS/SQL queries; perform statistical analysis (regression, standard deviation, mean, hypothesis testing) to generate ad-hoc reports and data-driven insights; create Gap Risk Score reports using MS Excel functionalities such as macros, charts, graphs, and functions; and work directly with different teams across the organization to build and improve processes that have a meaningful business impact. Telecommuting available.Required QualificationsRequires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Informatics, Operations Research, Statistics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Data analysis for health care industry, products, or systems; Programming in SAS, SQL, or Excel; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; and Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.Alternate requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Informatics, Operations Research, Statistics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following: Data analysis for health care industry, products, or systems; Programming in SAS, SQL, or Excel; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; and Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
