Job DescriptionThis critically important role is accountable for leading the Omnicare Innovation team which is responsible for creating industry leading customer experience through new, innovative Omnicare offerings. You will report to the Vice President of Internal Operations and partner with leadership to align on the strategic vision for the future state Omnicare customer experience programs and products. You will own the innovation roadmap to achieve the long-term vision and clearly articulate the industry leading customer experience innovations to cross-functional stakeholders and build teams.This role will lead a team of approximately 1-3 Direct Reports including colleagues at Sr. Manager and Manager levels. This role manages and is responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership of the following key areas of work: Innovation ideation and product/program development including financials, marketing, and success indicators.The leader in this role will have the opportunity to impact our business in the following ways:Management Responsibilities Model appropriate conduct and be a champion for the Omnicare culture. Accountable for leading and acting in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting rules governing the business (including, but not limited to HIPAA, Board of Pharmacy, OSHA, EPA, DEA, CMS, and Financial Controls). Responsible for following all company established policies and procedures to prevent or mitigate organizational novation Lead Product Ideation and Conceptualization efforts, for new products, programs and/or product enhancements, working in close partnership with other business areas by leveraging in-depth knowledge and understanding of market trends, customer needs/expectations, and internal capabilities Create new, market disrupting innovations that address near-term LTC customer priorities, including the development of technical requirements, testing, marketing, and execution. Validate innovations with internal and external customers through collaboration with internal operations, operations and filed teams. Manage development progress and proactively identify potential roadblocks with the highest level of attention to detail Create process for new continued iterations of programs or products based on LTC customer feedbackProject Management Empower a large, complex team to achieve key milestones and meet budget objectives within a broader cross-functional project plan Partner with the analytic team to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and drive results Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure outstanding client satisfaction outcomes, to proactively identify potential barriers to client retention, and working cross-functionally to drive issue resolution. Regularly report on progress against milestones and expected business results Provide training to operations teams and educate customer facing teams to support program utilization Accountable to meet operational and revenue targetsMarketing, Financial and Operational Leverage market, competitive, and sales intelligence to create innovative insights, prioritize messaging, and create compelling collateral demonstrating the value story of new offerings Collaborate with key stakeholders to support pricing, new business analysis, management of team payroll and expenses, cost containment initiatives and other key financial imperatives as identified Meet or exceed annual expense controls and innovation revenue generation Meet or exceed product or program performance measurements Ensure continued operational improvements Provide market intelligence and recommended approaches to enhance operations with respect to internal operators and customers (current and prospect).Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 221,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsThe Lead Director, Innovation OCR will be a dynamic and inspirational leader with a deep understanding of innovation and product/program development and have an exceptional track record of achieving results in a complex heath care environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following professional qualifications: 10 + years of demonstrated ability to develop and implement sustainable, market disrupting products or programs in relevant sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, and supply chain. 10+ years of demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and execute strategies to meet operational needs. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position Ability to travel as need Any additional tasks as directed by leader of this positionPreferred Qualifications Demonstrated track record of successful leadership in a highly competitive environment. Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred. Demonstrated track record of leading using CVS Health and Omnicare Leadership Competencies Demonstrated track record of successful leadership in a highly competitive environment. Relevant sectors include healthcare, manufacturing, and supply chain. Demonstrated ability to understand and break down highly complex situations to deliver impactful solutions in real time. Track record of proactively tackling issues in a decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind. Demonstrated abilities to perform under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple 'customers' of the business. Track record of building high performing teams and developing key talent. Demonstrated passion for bringing new leaders along and helping them to realize their ability to impact the business. Ability to effectively communicate and influence while tailoring messaging to different audiences, combining executive presence with ability to inspire and relate to hourly workforce. Ability to collaborate effectively across different business functions, different perspectives, and different styles of leadership. Demonstrated track record of operating in a highly matrixed organization. Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma certificationEducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
