Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThis is a dynamic position on the Corporate Care Management Team supporting the growth and development of the Community Resource Directory. This individual will support strategic direction set for the team and manage complex projects on behalf of business stakeholders by acting as a liaison with Information Technology (IT) and Business Operations, seeing the strategy through to implementation. This individual will oversee the team of specialists responsible for validating the community resources.This individual Influences all stake holders to support key projects/programs to ensure business requirements are translated into system capabilities for positive outcomes that deliver on results. The role manages and oversees all facets of projects including objective setting, planning, prioritization, consultation with business stakeholders, progress tracking, implementation, status updates and communication, etc. Collaborates with cross project teams, translates business requirements to technical teams and systems architects to meet the business objective(s). Employs project management disciplines and methodologies to drive process improvement activities, negotiates resources/time to ensure end-state projects are delivered timely and applies critical thinking to identify, develop and vet win-win solutions in collaboration with business partners.This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Product Management, meeting with senior leadership and providing demos/trainings of the product.Responsibilities:Business GrowthWorks closely with Care Management operations and clinical leadership teams to effectively implement new products, programs, and expansion opportunities Assists the Product Manager in development, oversight, and support of the Community Resource Directory and management of the CRD Specialist teamUser Story DevelopmentWorks with product management and stakeholders to align on business value, problem statements, and customer pain points that are strategic priorities for CVS HealthProvides subject matter expertise - explaining product vision and user stories to the team to ensure requirements are understood and customer value is deliveredCollaborates with development team to elaborate and define technical learnings into refined and prioritized backlog items that align to Iteration Objectives.Responsible for defining and prioritizing stories that will increase velocity and quality of the programResponsible for assuring a level of quality has been achieved by validating that the Story meets acceptance criteria and has met acceptance tests. Approves stories as complete.Responsible to update product management on Story status to align on delivery expectationsTeam Backlog Ownership/PrioritizationResponsible for building, prioritizing, monitoring/editing, and maintaining the flow of Team Backlog to ensure the delivery of the customer satisfaction and multi-million dollar business valueSets the runway for early business value and customer impact by determining sequencing of sprint planningLeads the team in identifying dependencies and tradeoffs as well as problem solving risks that may appear in the Team BacklogEstablish clear goals and objectives for the product(s) and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that will clearly indicate the progress towards those goals and business outcomes.Program Increment PlanningPartner with Product Management, who is responsible for the Program Backlog, to assist in preparing for the Program Increment (PI) Planning meeting.Identify the potential enablers and spikes for discussion in the Program IncrementDrafts the team's objectives and defines features for the Program Increment sessionCollaborates with the team to produce the PI system demo"¯and the Product Owner presents it to program stakeholders.Maintain Conceptual and Technical Integrity of Features/ComponentsPartner with design function to consider usability testing and end-user feedback to ensure product will address and resolve user pain pointsProvide architecture and development teams sufficiently detailed feedback on user stories and product vision to ensure the team maintains the technical integrity of features / functionalityPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications5+ years overall of professional work experience in a technical oriented team.3+ years required experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Consulting, or IT.2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience Proven presentation & communication skillsAbility to think "big picture" and understand impacts of individual project work on other teams, systems, and business strategyPreferred Qualifications Experience related to the Clinical Programs Familiarity with agile processes, such as scrum, Kanban, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Strong critical thinker who makes balanced, insightful decisions using solutions-based thinking in problem solving, asking probing questions and looking for underlying issues Ability to effectively work on teams within a highly collaborative environment Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical and people skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors) Ability to maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization."¯ Experience in healthcare industry or working with community-based organizations preferred Broad understanding of core technology and digital concepts including web services & APIs Ability to effectively work on teams within a highly collaborative environment Ability to multi-task and context switch Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical and people skillsEducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
