Job DescriptionJoin this dynamic and growing team Clinical Trial Services Real-World Evidence (CTS/RWE) organization provides analytical and advisory services that meet the market and clinical challenges faced by pharmaceutical, biotech, and device companies. You have the opportunity to work fully remote within the United States.The mission of the Safety Surveillance & Collaboration (SS&C) team, CVS Health Clinical Trial Services, is to actively monitor the US public health in collaboration with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and collaborate with academic institutions and other health insurance companies on RWE research.The S&C team conducts descriptive research, medical chart review validations, and pragmatic research using the FDA Sentinel Common Data Model (SCDM), Sentinel and Distributed Research Network (DRN) tools, Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) CDM, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Initiative (PCORI) CDM, and Aetna's Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).Responsibilities will include:-Acquire and analyze raw data and create large and complex analytic datasets to support Common Data Model refresh and include immunization information systems (IIS) data into Common Data Models (CDMs) to meet business needs. -Support the build-out of the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources. -Utilize SAS, SQL, and HL7 to transform data into CDMs. -Review results and quality control data to make evidence-based recommendations and presentations to internal team and clients including the FDA.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 126,600Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 5+ years of health care data management and analytics 1+ years of experience with SASPreferred Qualifications5+ years of analytical background in Pharmacoeconomics and/or outcomes research using Real World Datasets5+ years of experience with SAS 3+ years' experience with extract-transform-load data files3+ years' experience with healthcare claims data analysisObservational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP), FDA Sentinel Common Data Model (CDM), or Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) CDM FDA Sentinel Initiative (BEST, NESTcc and/ or Sentinel program)Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint for reporting, TableauExperience creating production processes to automate routine data management tasksExperience working with and integrating large datasets from multiple sources Ability and motivated to complete proposals before deadlines -Experience in healthcare organization-Strong collaborative attitude and desire to improve healthcare -Strategic thinking and analytical skills-Problem-solving skills- Great organizational and communication skills- Any additional tasks as directed by Manager, Director, or Vice PresidentEducationBachelor's degree required.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
