Job DescriptionThe Sr. Manager, Informatics must demonstrate exceptionally good leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to inspire and lead a large cross-functional group in a unified direction with a common vision. This candidate must have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form. This position will be instrumental in new data concepts, analytical concepts, information visualizations, and data infrastructure and housing. Communication skills will be needed to facilitate smooth interaction and efficient execution of collaborative duties.The Manager will also report to relevant stakeholders on the performance of the data analytics and warehousing departments as well as drafting and presenting proposed strategic approaches for departments across the business. These reports and presentations must be clear, concise, convincing, easy-to-understand, and tailored to suit the audience at hand. The Sr. Manager, Informatic must also have excellent computer skills and be highly proficient in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, PowerPoint, which will be necessary in the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations, for departmental heads/management, senior analytics leadership, and key stakeholders.This position will work closely with other Sr. Managers to ensure a deep understanding of cost trends, cost drivers, and market trends. It is essential for this position to be highly skilled in data analytics and the delivery of information to executive level leadership.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 158,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- Candidate for this position will have had at least 5+ years experience in a data analytics or data warehousing department.- Experience in bringing together diverse functions and building teams that include data analytics and warehousing personnel, guiding them through successful data analytic projects.- Experience in business process analysis, data architecture design and development as well as the implementation of workflow enabled solutions.- Market/business intelligence, strategic planning, project management.- Cross-functional business experience as well as vast experience working with large data-sets and computing systems such as Hadoop.- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form.- Experience with Microsoft Office products and Excel.- Experience with SQL server reporting services, Tableau, analysis services, Power Bi or any other data visualization tools.- Demonstrated leadership and people skills for successful cross-functional relationships.Preferred Qualifications- At least 10 + years of working experience in a data analytics or data warehousing department, preferably working as a Head of Analytics. - Master's degree preferredEducation- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, Applied Math, Business Administration, or equivalent working experience.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
