Lead Director, Strategic Programs - PBM

Job DescriptionAs a key member of the PSS Portfolio Management Team (PMT), the Lead Director, PSS Strategic Programs is central to achieving the value realization of strategic investments by facilitating a consistent, transparent approach to value management.You will be assigned to one or more value pools, which are portfolios of consumer-centric, cross-functional initiatives aimed at achieving strategic objectives, and is expected to:Serve as subject matter experts and the main point of contact for all PMT requirements (benefit and operational updates, program deadlines and deliverables, bring forth success stories etc.)Help drive the multi-year business case, strategic deployment, dependencies and process discovery and analysis for assigned value poolsPartner with value pool leads to evaluate and refine business cases to identify the problems we need to solve to realize vision, define metrics / KPI's to measure improvement towards value pool objectivesCascade through the value streams aligned KPI's, targets, measures, and incremental gains towards pool objectives.Usher initiatives through the ideation, vetting, and BU Support project teams through the idea vetting process as business cases are developed and vetted by key stakeholdersValidate that BUs, IT, Digital, etc. teams have completed the required business case fields as project ideas are vetted with key stakeholdersSupport BU prioritization exercise of new and in-flight projectsPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 221,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in a PBM role.8+ years of experience managing large-scale projects in complex business environments.8+ years of experience managing cross-functional project teams Proven financial acumen and ability to identify action required to achieve budget goals and financial targets.Experience with PBM products, clients, and operations with the ability to solve complex problems through people in other functional organizations, such as IT, HR, Provider/Pharma Contracting, Operations, and Finance.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree will be valuedASQ Six Sigma Black BeltTechnology or IT CertificationsKnowledge of PBM systems (including RxClaim, PeopleSafe, and SFDC), process, and overall industry workingsEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
