Executive Director, Commercial Product Actuarial

Job DescriptionThe Executive Director, Product Actuarial serves as the lead actuary for Commercial product design, analysis and portfolio management. The individual in this role will provide actuarial leadership across the entire product lifecycle, partnering closely with product experts, pricing actuaries, underwriters, data science and clinicians to drive business results. This exciting position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate across the CVS Health enterprise to shape innovative product offerings for the Commercial business. Responsibilities include: Oversee all actuarial services supporting the product life cycle for the Commercial business. Drive product analytics and design modeling to inform insured portfolios in Commercial markets. Partner with Product and Finance partners to assess the performance of products against business case and market expectations. Provide actuarial input and leadership related to new product development, including ideation, concept modeling, product and benefit design modeling, feasibility analysis, business cases and contracting support. Manage team resources to deliver timely and quality service to business partners. Lead with impact, using collaboration, expertise and influence to support profitable growth. Drive innovation through product design, analytics, and operational excellence. Serve as a strategic partner to Product, Underwriting, and Commercial actuaries. Liaise with Enterprise Economics to drive enterprise value through Commercial Product.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 131,500Maximum: 289,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
