Job DescriptionFully remote position. Working hours will be: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Holidays may be required per the needs of the department. No weekend or travel will be required. Candidates must reside in the state of Louisiana to be considered. Position is for Licensed Mental Health Professionals (active licensed in LA) to staff Aetna Better of Health of Louisiana's Crisis Call Center as part of the 2022 LA state implementation of the new Crisis Services System to respond to all behavioral health crisis needs of members. This includes crisis counseling, de-escalation, dispatching of mobile crisis/EMS/Police, follow up post call, linkage/referral to services, and tracking of disposition and outcomes of crisis response. Duties include the following:- Answer, engage, and assess member calls related to Behavioral Health and/or Substance Use Disorder- Triage calls related to clinical assessment of risk- Understand and apply principals and guidelines related to ensuring safety of members- Utilize clinical skills to determine action plan to address member concerns- Provide support, linkage, and referral to plan resources and outside community agencies and services as indicated- Dispatch Mobile Crisis or EMS, and or Police when clinically indicated- Track and record outcome and disposition of callsPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 55,300Maximum: 118,900Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- Minimum 6 years of community mental health work experience with individuals struggling with serious behavioral health and substance use issues- Minimum 3 years of experience involving assessing, triaging, and managing behavioral health crisis situations and/or calls utilizing national recognized best practice- Unrestricted and active state of Louisiana license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP).-Minimum 1 year of experience with MS office suite application required including Word, Outlook and MS Teams.Preferred Qualifications- Behavioral Health Managed Care experience- Prior work experience in a Behavioral Health Crisis Call Center, Crisis Stabilization Center, or similar- Knowledge of community behavioral health and social support systems- Demonstrated ability to form and maintain collaborative working relationships with community based mental health providers, knowledge of the Louisiana Department of Health regulations related to behavioral health and substance use Medicaid services, and prior experience providing behavioral health services.-Problem-solving skills, ability to multi task.EducationMaster's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Human Services including degrees from a CACREP accredited university.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
