Job DescriptionAs a Retail Sr Manager of Architecture you will be responsible for developing and driving the Retail Technology Strategy. Work closely with retail tower architects, enterprise architecture, enterprise technology services, enterprise information security, enterprise digital and enterprise data to ensure consistency & alignment in architecture standards. Provide technology leadership and advise for architecture decisions impacting retail digital platforms across all retail towers.The Sr Manager will focus on platform, integration, data exchange, workflow, security, and infrastructure. This role assists and sometimes leads the development of horizontal strategies, across retail tower blueprints, plans, and standards.The Sr Manager works individually or across the retail towers (retail, supply chain, retail pharmacy & enterprise finance) to deliver capabilities in a platform manner, enable cloud-native development approaches, accelerate delivery via composable techniques, and champion innovative strategies across all retail towers.Accountabilities include:Build relationships with Business and IT partners to develop Innovative and strategic platforms across the retail businessWork with peers from across the enterprise (retail, supply chain, retail pharmacy & enterprise finance) to build and deliver on the Innovation roadmap.Offer guidance in building consensus on approach and provide technical execution oversight. Identify and mediate conflicting requirements among retail tower (retail, supply chain, retail pharmacy & enterprise finance) architects.With guidance drive adoption of architectural standards by leveraging experience at various levels across technologies, including DevSecOps, Applications, Platforms, Infrastructure, Cloud.Help to cultivate technical expertise and champion and enable learning, adoption, reskill and reuse across retail towers, with focus on scale-ready technologies and approaches, such as platform-centric delivery, cloud-native approaches, and others.Architecture and design reviews: Participate and advise others in architecture design reviews. Help to identify gaps and recommend design changes. Actively participate in the Architecture community to drive modernization opportunities for the advancement of Retail technology while keeping in mind the complexities of our IT landscapeProof of concept technology support: Lead and/or participate in proofs-of-concept and technology deep-dives specific to partner technologiesDevSecOps Pipeline automation: Providing guidance and coaching to App Dev teams to define CICD pipeline templates including the use of standardized enterprise DevSecOps toolchain for build and deployment automation to the public cloud as well as assist with the development of these where there are gapsPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 95,000Maximum: 209,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
