Job DescriptionThe Senior Digital Experience Designer leads design work streams in an effort to solve complex business challenges while being an advocate for users.Foundational characteristics of the Senior Digital Experience Designer include empathy, creative problem-solving, comfort with uncertainty, collaboration, iteration, communication skills, excellent technical design skills, and curiosity.This role will work hand-in-hand with other disciplines and stakeholders to scale our digital solutions across multiple platforms and enhance user flows based on comprehensive research and user-centered design processes. This role involves hands-on design responsibilities including journey mapping, design research, wire framing, prototyping, alignment to brand standards and UI guidelines, high-fidelity visual design, data visualization and visual hierarchy.This role will support Retail End to End Design Squad within the Digital Experience Design Organization reporting to the Executive Director of Design for Retail.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationstMinimum 5 years experience in UX, UI or blended UX/UI designtExperience working in Figma, Sketch and InVision and/or other industry-standard design toolstProven experience in driving and delivering design from initial concepts all the way to hand-off and successful launchtStrong portfolio of work including examples of mobile web, desktop and other digital experiencesPreferred QualificationstAbility to align team members around the ideal digital experience and gain support and commitmenttExperience in designing and delivering work from initial concepts all the way to successful market launchestKnowledge of HTML, CSS and other web technologiestAwareness of how native mobile technical restraints can influence design choicestAbility to communicate user needs (e.g. storytelling, leveraging data) and demonstrate how proposed designs solve those needs to internal team and senior partnerstExperience working within an Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Methodology as a development processtUnderstanding of design system and component-based designtExperience in UI design including a strong grasp on visual hierarchy, spacing, typographytKnowledgeable about Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and able to collaborate with Accessibility team to arrive at solutions that are inclusive and accessibleDesign ResponsibilitiestExecutes iterative discovery and solution processes to define, design and deliver solutionstVisualizes the value of innovative and simple design concepts to demonstrate how they support CVS's mission and visiontCreates prototypes for usability testing and defines customer personas and user flows.tHands on experience with UX design journey mapping, user flows, wire framing, prototypingtGathers insights, determining solutions and delivering designstActively participates in design discussions and workshops with key stakeholders to envision and implement customer experiences tht meet or exceed customer expectationstEngages with research, optimization, and analytics teams when appropriate to inform, validate design decisions and drive continuous improvement to experiencestCollaborates with Accessibility, UX, Content and UX Research team members to deliver experience design features using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologytMonitors experience design trends and best practices across industries to implement appropriate processes at CVStParticipates in internal team activities that strengthen the culture across the organizationtMaintains current knowledge of the Enterprise Design System, UI Toolkit, Brand Guidelines, Accessibility Requirements and advocate for proper utilizationtAdapts easily to change, encourage progress and challenge the current state of designtLead the execution of sketches, user flows, wireframes and visual designs that clearly illustrate the customer journey.tCollaborates with a cross-functional team to get to the best hypothesis and track users' outcomes over timetWorks independently requiring limited directiontLooks ahead of current future and translate future possibilities into breakthrough design strategies and conceptsEducationBachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Graphic Design, Information Design, Product Design, Human Factors or equivalent/relevant work experienceBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
