Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Job DescriptionYou will be in the forefront, leveraging new and existing technology to accelerate the transformation of IT in support of the business. The Sr. Cloud Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the Public Cloud environment. You will collaborate with other Architects and Engineers to enable enterprise applications to meet (or exceed) the organization business goals. The Cloud Engineer - Senior is also involved in identifying the emerging technologies for cloud native workload to enable (and accelerate) CVS's journey to the Cloud.This opportunity can be located in Richardson, TX; Woonsocket, RI; Scottsdale, AZ, Hartford, CT.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 95,000Maximum: 209,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing new on-premises and Microsoft Azure systems while implementing best practices and industry standards 5+ years of experience with migrating on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure cloud 5+ years of experience with configuring Microsoft Azure monitoring and alerts for cloud resource availability 2+ years of experience working in environment having different Azure based PaaS & SaaS services (ASE, Azure Databricks, Azure Datalake, Azure AD, Azure ADDS, etc) 2+ years of experience working directly with Azure Infrastructure services (VM's, VNETS, Subnets, NSG's, Resource Groups, etc ) deployment 2+ years of experience supporting Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) 1+ years of experience supporting Azure Site Recovery (ASR) / Azure Backup (ABU) High degree of knowledge in Azure Active Directory, Roles and Policies Understand enterprise level application architecture diagrams Demonstrate strong ability to troubleshoot technical problems and issues Experience working in DevOps (CI/CD Tools, Automation, Scripting - Terraform, Jenkins, GIT) a plusPreferred Qualifications Knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms. (aks preferred) Experience working in devops. (ci/cd tools, automation, scripting) (terraform, Jenkins, git, azure devops preferred) Vast understanding of cloud services and solutions in platforms such as Azure Experience planning and executing on-premises to Azure migrations Knowledge in automation and scripting languages Experience working with Azure PaaS, Azure networking, and Azure site reliability solutions (specific examples of each will be requested) Strong practical knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems (on-premises & IaaS) Microsoft Azure Certification Experience with DevOps practices Knowledge in automation and scripting languagesEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or other IT related field.
