Job DescriptionThe Executive Director, Specialty Program Development & Execution is responsible for the analysis, identification, and implementation of strategic initiatives that support CVS Specialty and enterprise growth and profitability. You will also be required to be a thought leader in Specialty as it relates to industry trends including key therapies, main channels, and overall industry dynamic. Additionally, the Executive Director will be responsible for leading the mergers and acquisitions of our specialty pharmacy business.Knowledge of: Manage an engaged team providing direction and leadership High level of experience applying analytics and advanced logic Proven ability to effectively interact and manage projects across business functions. Managing teams of diverse skillsets Identifies risk and mitigation strategies to ensure success Uses critical thinking and strategy to balance multiple stakeholders needs (e.g., patient, payor, pharma, pharmacy, enterprise Attention to detailAbility To: Identify, dissect, and fully understand emerging trends in a very dynamic landscape Communicate clearly to small and large groups internally and externally to lead complex projects to completion Lead an organization of direct reports and indirect reports to complete complex projects Collaborate cross functionally with leaders and colleagues' enterprise wide to solution, implement and drive results Ability to plan, develop, and execute short- and long-range growth goalsResponsibilities:Mergers and acquisitions. Ownership and execution of specialty pharmacy acquisitions Collaborate with retail to identify acquisition opportunities that will complement the Specialty portfolio related to therapy mix, location, etc. Ownership of due diligence and implementation strategy Collaboration with Enterprise teams to support integration Responsible for Specialty performance analysis and reporting Lead a team responsible for providing recurrent analysis and reporting on CVS Specialty trends by therapy, drug level, and client profitability. Identify opportunities to improve Specialty Pharmacy performance including tactics to minimize leakage and improve drug margin. Support other CVS Specialty groups with analytical needs and ad hoc reporting. Monitor CVS performance for market share vs. our competitors Manage a team dedicated to programs focused on increasing revenue and enhancing the customer experience. Lead analysis and implementation of back-end pharmacy support to clients (White label) Monitor and manage CVS Specialty Financial hardship program and improve bad debt collection Partner with CVS Retail to operate and manage the Specialty Connect/Specialty Pick up at retail program.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 131,500Maximum: 289,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications10+ years experience in Healthcare, Finance or Strategic Analysis roles 5+ years managing teams with diverse skillsets.Preferred Qualifications Specialty Pharmacy Experience Knowledge of Pharma, Prescriber, Payor and Patient value propositions.
