Job DescriptionFortune 5 CVS Health is hiring for a Senior Medical Economics Manager. The Operational Reporting and Analytics team within the Medical Economics Unit (MEU) is responsible for operational measurement and analysis for Utilization Management. You will manage and build a strong team of data analysts through leadership and mentoring, holding primary responsibility for delivery of projects to successfully provide tactical and strategic solutions to constituent needs. Develop and deliver decision support tools, reporting applications, reports, insights and business acumen to operational decision makers on the Clinical Operations team. This involves extracting, collecting, analyzing and interpreting utilization data from many sources to address business questions regarding program and product design, operational effectiveness and other business needs. These activities require advanced technical, analytic and consultative skills, extensive knowledge of health care data and clinical platforms. Assist in all phases of team leadership and performs management functions.This role is open to Fully Remote LocationPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 158,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications7 or more years of reporting and/or management experiencePreferred Qualifications Manages a team of data analysts that support clinical operations. Manages report requests, projects and customer expectations to achieve constituent satisfaction. Responsible for leading project/reporting commitments and on-time deliverables. Demonstrated leadership ability. Recognized as an expert in multiple areas of clinical operations, analysis and reporting. Understands business goals and expectations. Collaborates with constituents to create business applications/reports to deliver solutions. Using data, identifies best practices and efficiencies driving positive outcomes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. New Report Development. Responsible for gathering detailed reporting requirements, understanding program details and workflows as well as data sources. Maintain ongoing reports which include Quality audit and Results Management productivity by ensuring necessary SAS coding changes are completed. Owns and maintains SAS code, pulling from multiple data sources to produce weekly and monthly production reports. Deliver reports timely by agreed upon frequency through several delivery channels (SharePoint, email etc.) Adheres to a stringent quality review process prior to report distribution to ensure accuracy of deliverables Deep knowledge of health care data, metrics and systems. Turn analysis into business/customer solutions. Understands the relationships between program design, outcome measures, and appropriate measurement strategies. Recommends and develops tactical and strategic solutions that satisfy information needs across products, segments and constituents. Participate in the development of project plans and timelines. Manage team projects, people, customer expectations and business priorities to achieve constituent satisfaction. Responsible for team commitments to quality and on-time deliverables. Is willing to understand and probe into technical details and mentors his/her direct reports to do the same. Contributes to a motivated work environment by working effectively to achieve common goals. Participate in the development of data reports and/or products that drive operational excellence. Strong reporting skills using SAS, Power BI, Excel, Access, Word and/or PowerPoint.
