Job DescriptionThis role is open to anywhere in the U.S.A.This leader will be responsible for leading a team of 5 local market actuaries who certify bids for 12 states and over $9B in annual Individual Medicare Advantage revenue. Will be a thought leader for the IVL MA actuarial team with a focus on team-wide talent development and the appropriate management and prioritization of resources.This individual will lead multiple complex functional teams that support the overall IVL MA team. A key business resource for both the local market leaders in their region as well as IVL Medicare Executive Leadership. Specific focus on identifying and clearly communicating material risks to the business based on changing regulatory or macro environment. Coordinate the pricing/bidding best practices across all Aetna geographies and Medicare Advantage market actuaries.This leader has the opportunity to help shape the strategy in a rapidly growing business segment, develop strong cross-functional relationships, and guide the culture and talent development of a strong actuarial team within Aetna.#AetnaActuaryPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 131,500Maximum: 289,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
