Sr. Software Test Engineer - Analytics

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Test Engineer, you will work in a product team with 6-10 developers building a high-quality Business Intelligence product for internal finance stakeholders. You will work closely with developers to create automated scenario tests that verify the analytic computations performed by their microservices are accurate.- A firm understanding of software design and system design is crucial to success for this role. You should be able to identify defects in the software, and more importantly pin-point where they originate from and suggest simple yet effective fixes for them.Responsibilities:- Write automated tests (scenario/functional) to validate analytic calculations from application using an automation framework (e.g. CodeceptJS, Lettuce).- Create a methodology to stand up a data store, load it with test data and discard it in a portable way- Keep test data relevant as application and metrics change- Write automated performance test that measure how long different analytic calculations take- Work in a collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies- Bonus - Strong experience with docker- Bonus - Strong experience with orchestration tools like Terraform or AnsiblePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 90,000Maximum: 180,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
