Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of a Lead Pharmacy Technician is to establish an expertise in all drug therapies serviced within the pharmacy to help provide guidance, mentoring and back up for the other technicians. Senior Techs will also assist the Pharmacy Manager with assignment of work, training, and mentoring while maintaining patient service through accurately, and efficiently performing front store work related to prescription entry and customer service in addition to maintaining relationships with related MD offices and the Sales team supporting the Therapy.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 18.50Maximum: 34.60Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsEssential Qualifications and Functions: The minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) which are required to successfully perform the job. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be deemed acceptable by the hiring manager. One year computer experience. Two years as a pharmacy technician or in a pharmacy environment. One year as a pharmacy tech II or III in a CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy. CPHT Certification a plus in states that do not require certification. Basic pharmacology knowledge, which includes the ability to weigh, measure, calculate dosages and convert units of measure. Attention to detail. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to make decisions and resolve issues. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to coach and mentor other team members. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with varying levels of leadership within the organization.
