Job DescriptionThe Senior Software Developer will be responsible for support and development of the ETL applications for HDMS, an affiliate of CVS.A successful candidate will be expected to: - Create new functionality in Business Intelligence application (SAS/Informatica)- Develop reusable SAS programs to transform data into a formatted output (ETL, ELT)- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues including: SAS processes, - Create and maintain Informatica Power Center and Informatica Developer (IDQ) workflows to assist data operations in processing their data into tables- Create tables and views in various databases and assist in maintaining them- Create and maintain shell scripts and SQL scriptsThis is in addition to the Core Developer Responsibilities:- Gather and/or understand complex business and technical specifications for new projects - Day to day maintenance and support are required for this position which includes troubleshooting issues for existing features and newly added features- Identify, document, refine and improve existing functionality- Fully identify, explain, and correct issues- Collaborate with other developersPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 90,000Maximum: 180,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- 5 years professional experience in Software/Business Intelligence Application development including:- Informatica Power Center and Developer (IDQ) workflow experience- Strong Linux/Unix skills including strong shell scripting skills- SQL coding experience- Ability to learn unknown languages and technologies quicklyPreferred Qualifications- Healthcare industry data and analytic experience- Agile development process experience- Experience working with Business Intelligence platforms (such as SAS Enterprise Guide, Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau etc.) - SAS Macro Programming- Worked with source control systems and familiar with good development methodologiesEducationThe minimum level of education required for candidates in this position is a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
