Senior FP&A Manager

Job DescriptionThe Senior Manager will report directly to the Plan CFO and have oversight to the monthly financial reporting, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, including presenting to the Executive Team. Finance liaison in relation to medical cost initiatives, special projects, encounter dashboard and state finance department. Finance representative on several workgroups and meetings for the Plan. In addition, this individual is responsible for the timely completion of all state and external audits as well as preparing and coordinating the completion of a variety of external state reporting requirementsResponsibilities1. Oversight of monthly financial reporting including preparation of month end result reporting and variance analysis2. Lead the coordination and development of the health plan financial planning and forecasting process.3. Responsible for providing financial support to ensure the timely completion of any state or external audit4. Coordinate the preparation and completion of a variety of complex state/regulatory reporting requirements.5. Identify, implement, monitor, and track effective medical cost analysis through coordination with medical directors, network management, underwriting, etc.6. Partner with other financial disciplines, e.g., actuarial, underwriting, to assure pricing, product and risk alignment with business unit financial performance targets.7. Lead financial analysis and recommendations in support of management's evaluation of strategic and business initiatives.8. Serve as team lead providing guidance and training to less experienced staff members.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 162,700Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 7+ years of healthcare, managed care insurance or financial services experience 7 + years of financial planning and analysis experience 7+ years of experience in P&L ownership and key financial metrics 7+ years of working collaboration with functional areas to implement strategyPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of: Medicaid experienceSkill in: MBA, CPA, FSA or equivalent Ability To: Present to senior leadership Financial management experience including strategic and business planning, accounting and financial analysis.
