Job DescriptionThe Quality Consultant position is responsible for auditing the Encounter Correction Analyst staff ensuring desktop procedures are followed in the resolution of encounter errors. Additional responsibilities to include but limited to the following: Use analytical and statistical techniques and tools to perform research and analysis of processes to recommend enhancements and workable solutions in resolving encounter errors Through the audit process provide guidance to staff, documenting/updating procedures, and ensuring analyst understanding of the encounter error corrections process. Under direct supervision, develop and deliver training to Correction staff, develop quality assessment /audit /measurement programs tailored to specific assignments. Responsible to support targeted quality audit projects. Report results and make recommendations (e.g., training needs, quality controls and procedures). In partnership with business owners, support the design and development of new processes.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 18.50Maximum: 34.60Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 2-3 years of claim processing, demonstrate advanced proficiency in claims knowledge. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft package tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, QuickBase, and other databases) to present analyses and programs. Attention to detail and a willingness to collaborate with others.
