Work with different areas to understand those data points.Collaboration and Influence Skills: Act as a liaison between market and actuarial partners, consulting on various actuarial initiatives and market dynamics to drive results that will be optimal for business. Influence and empower resources within and outside of direct control to complete projects Work with several business functions (Sales, Medical Management, Network, Contracting, Product, Finance, Underwriting) to brainstorm initiatives and set up metrics to monitor focused execution Be a strong voice for local market unique needs while also balancing the need to streamline processes for efficiencyCommunications to Various Audiences: This is your opportunity to enhance verbal and written communication to various audiences, establish strong relationships and effectively convey observations and -Depth Market Knowledge: Immerse yourself in the dynamics of competitive landscape. Analyze competitor prices so that recommended actions can be devised to achieve business metrics Drive initiatives to lower cost structure so price points can be competitive and achieve required financial goals Create or facilitate creation of initiatives for more attractive products, networks and contract arrangements to fuel growth Recommend decisions logically based on data and business acumen that weighs the pros and cons and considers calculated risks#AetnaActuaryPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 227,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of relevant actuarial health care experience. Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA) Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
