Job DescriptionA qualified candidate in this role will assist in preparing a monthly report that summarizes the experience for the Medicare line of business. Data is pulled at the member level and then bucketed according to various attributes to help assist with analysis for the Medicare business. By reconciling data and assigning different attributes, this reporting allows users to better understand financial performance. Additional duties include working on ad-hoc analytics, examining emerging results, and competitive analysis.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 130,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsAt least 3 - 4 years of experience in the following: - Proficient in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel and Access)- Experience with claims and healthcare data analysis.- Ability to tell a story with data and communicate findings with clients.- Exposure to or experience with Medicare unit cost analysis or data.- Experience with data extraction and transformation.- Business communication skillset.Preferred Qualifications- Exposure to SAS, SQL, or Python.- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Tools Suite.- Programming experience with SAS, SQL, or Python.- Exposure working with financial data and actuarial experience preferred (not required).Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
