Job DescriptionDo you want to make an impact on a team? CVS Health, one of Fortune's Most Admired Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer. As a Process Engineer, you will lead the engineering group which supports Manufacturing and Quality Compliance (Validation) efforts throughout the blister repackaging process; including thermoformer, automatic bottle opener, and print press operation. You will also drive lean continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency improvements and cost reductions while maintaining high regulatory compliance standards including development of testing methodologies. The Engineer will own the detailed planning and execution of all assigned projects and continuous improvement initiatives related to the department and will also be accountable for their success assuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and delivery. You will recommend projects and initiatives that are in strategic alignment with site goals, manage risks and changes, and deliver projects/initiatives successfully. Key Responsibilities: Design, plan, and implement commissioning, qualification, and validation projects. Design solutions to equipment/process challenges or as required to support continuous improvement. Utilize continuous improvement tools, lean and six sigma methodology to identify improvement opportunities, perform technical troubleshooting and successfully implement solutions. Create and update manufacturing and engineering documentation (Work Instructions, SOPs, Specifications, Engineering Drawings, etc.), and perform training as necessary. Perform detailed project planning including but not limited to schedule and resources and successfully execute cross functional projects Prepare timely project reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including reporting any potential project delays timely and provide mitigation plans to assure on-time execution. Lead and facilitate process improvement-based workshops such as Kaizen to drive the identification of ideas and solutions across the organization, solving business problems and innovating our manufacturing operations. Responsible for providing technical support and technical expertise to team to facilitate resolution of system and quality issues, either from direct experience or from available source materials. Types of equipment may include but are not limited to: Thermoformers, Print-Apply Systems, Vision Inspection Systems, Digital Printing Systems, etc. Monitor and maintain a deep understanding of variables impacting key performance metrics.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 100,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 1+ years mechanical engineering experience or equivalent education Knowledge of other related disciplines such as Automation, Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical and Pneumatic systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Proficient in computer aided drafting applications and/or 3D modelingPreferred Qualifications 3-5+ years engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Experience with thermoforming equipment. Validation experience. Six Sigma Belt Lean manufacturing training/experience. Previous working experience in 21 CFR Part 210/211 regulated environment (cGMP) SOP, Qualification, or user documentation writing and execution experience Prior management experience.
