Job Description Must reside in Alexandria, LA area - Responsible for developing, facilitating, and implementing Medicaid enrollment, outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations which support member education and health plan awareness within the Medicaid population and the community. - Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community contacts. - Maintains marketing guideline compliance with the appropriate state's laws and regulations.Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:- Developing, facilitating, and implementing outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations to increase awareness of the health plan's presence in the community.- Seeking out and secures event sponsorship.- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community contacts.- Responsible for event logistics including reserving space, catering, communication, distributing materials, facilities support, and other similar activities. Monitors and/or participates in the preparation and tear down for the event.- Managing on-site event staffing and handles any problems or emergencies that may arise. - Acts as contact for all sponsors and event providers.- Assuring proper documentation for membership and leader driven activities and events.- Giving individual or group presentations to potential sponsors and members.- May conduct new member orientations and lead generating events and activities.- Providing recommendations and status updates to the department management team as required.- Producing and maintains a community events calendar to assist the department with community and member awareness.- Must be able to lift 30lbs minimum- Performing other duties as required.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 19.50Maximum: 40.10Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- 3-5 years experience working with the Medicaid population. - At least 1 year of experience with community-based programs.- Able to present information to various audiences.- Ability to work independently and travel alone.- Valid driver's license in good standing and access to a reliable vehicle required.- Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as some special proprietary applications.- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and off-shifts as required.- Minimal overnight travel may be required.Preferred Qualifications- Bi-lingual (Spanish) Preferred- Bachelor's Degree Preferred- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.EducationHigh School Diploma or EquivalentBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
