Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Data and Machine Learning team developing CVS Health's Modern Data Platform is looking for an exceptional Executive Product Director to join our team in one of our locations or as a remote employee: Hartford, CT; Wellesley, MA; New York, NY; Chicago, IL, Pittsburgh, PA, Irving, TX. CVS Health maintains large data platforms which are continually evolving with new technology and capabilities. The Enterprise Data and Machine Learning Platform manages CVS Health's line of business (Health Care & Benefits, Pharmacy Benefits Management, and Retail) data. We are in the process of transforming this platform to make it easier for data scientists, developers, and business analysts to publish, access, and leverage the data orders of magnitude more than we were able to before. In the role of Executive Product Director for this platform you will work in a fast-paced environment and will carry the responsibility to manage the Product Directors, Product Managers, and Program Managers that plan, organize and execute the product development and delivery activities and initiatives of the platform. Your responsibility includes planning and managing significant product roadmaps, initiatives, and commitments, building APIs that transform the platform into a set of cohesive self-service capabilities, promoting and leading multiple agile teams using the SAFE methodology and leading programs to migrate from legacy data platforms into the platform. This role includes managing the budget for the Data Platform for the associated GCP/Cloud environments and related initiatives. You will be expected to collaborate very closely with Executive Management and peer Senior Management, Business Stakeholders, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, and Engineering teams in a fully scaled agile environment. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure that investments are aligned to the organization's strategic goals and roadmaps. Guiding Product Owners and Scrum Masters in the SAFe practice and delivery leadership of teams through SAFe Program Iterations. Deliver innovative capabilities utilizing CVS Health's advanced IT organization and strategic partnerships. Primary skills include thorough understanding of Platform Product Management, SAFe and Agile methodologies, strong communication, leadership, people management, project management, technical knowledge of big data and analytics systems, and demonstrated ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders and leaders to build strong delivery trains of highly performing SAFe teams.Fundamental Components: Develop and execute a product strategy that scales the Enterprise Data and Machine Learning Platform, through development of capabilities, APIs, and self-service mechanisms and investments Represent Product strategic issues with Senior Leaders cross-functionally. Ensures integration of product strategy within company/business unit strategic and operational plans Communicates and consults with Senior Leaders to ensure that product initiatives focus on long term results/ earnings and represent all constituencies effectively (e.g. segments, consumers, providers) Manage Intake, Scope prioritization, ROI/EBIT assessment, Lean Business case preparation and end-to-end Program planning, status, change and risk management, execution Interfacing with business - Portfolio, Program and Delivery Teams, Product Managers/Owners, Business Owners and Stakeholders. To work with Business and IT leadership to devise 12-36 month road-map, strategy and solutions, and milestones guided by OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) Accountable for financials across programs and due budget adherence Program Increment (PI) - planning, coordination, support, consultation, and tracking Manage staffing planning and development activities across teams, including selection and development of Product Managers Selects and builds strong teams through formal training, diverse assignments, coaching, mentoring and other development techniques Articulates performance expectations and team objectives while collecting and interpreting balanced measures to evaluate team performancePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 131,500Maximum: 297,250Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
