Job DescriptionWould you like to join Fortune 5 CVS Health as a key contributor in our dynamic and growing Custom Formulary Consultants (CFC) team? The Custom Formulary Analytics Support Senior Manager position on the CFC team is a highly visible role that is integral to identifying insights and building automation from the strategies the CFC presents to clients. You will be expected to analyze, research, give meaning to client decisions while scaling automation efforts to better understand drug trend. You will work with multiple customer market segments (i.e. Commercial, Managed Medicaid, Med D, Exchange formularies).The CFC team, which is a key market differentiator that enables us to win business while insuring we meet our client rebate contract guarantees, services our custom formulary clients. The consultants leverage financial and clinical acumen to assist clients with custom formulary decisions. The individuals on this team thoroughly understand rebate guarantees, pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate agreements, rebate invoicing, rebate reporting, analyze rebate and drug utilization reports to understand trends, and provide clients with recommendations on formulary and utilization management strategies. The Custom Formulary Analytics Sr. Manager will design and enhance our analytics capabilities. Responsibilities: You will establish relationships internally and articulate potential management strategies with a deep understanding of the rebate contracts that support them. You will assist CVS Health in working with clients to meeting financial management goals, including client rebate guarantees. This is an outstanding opportunity with exposure to high profile clients and senior executives; and a chance to create strong partnerships. Among your specific responsibilities are:-Assisting with strategic initiatives, including working in a cross functional team environment on multiple projects at a time and handling needs from the trade relations organization.-Understanding of trade rebate contracts and the opportunities created for clients based on their own unique characteristics.- Build automation that enhances our data integration and analysis. This will come from working with data science and data engineering teams to assist in capturing CFC client insights and helping measure client performance using tools like Microsoft, access, SQL VBA, and Tableau. -Modeling and scenario analysis for all Trade Relations therapeutic areas; understanding and anticipating benefit design evolution and potential impact on financials.-Executing quantitative and qualitative research to develop and test value proposition scenarios and messages using what the team modeled across all lines of business.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 162,700Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare with a focus on financial strategy and/or client relations.-Effective communicator; verbal and written.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, access, VBA, and SQL. -Experience in managing multiple competing priorities.-Ability to establish relationships with key internal stakeholders to navigate and help execute Trade strategies.-Working with cross-functional teams and/or projects.-Travel up to 10% of the time.Preferred Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of experience with pharmacy benefit management, health plans, rebates, drug spend and/or formulary strategies.- Reporting and analytics experience.- Strong Microsoft Access, VBA, SQL skills and desire to learn new automation tools and skills- Data engineering and automation experience.Education- Bachelor's Degree required. - MBA preferred.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
